  1. Brother,

What is the purpose of your poll? Is not all things in Masonry symbolic anyways? Are not those symbols used for the explanation of Masonry? Are those explanations not used to convey the light of making good men better. Is not all great and important undertaking to be first envoked by the blessing of God? Is it to just be implied that God has a purpose in our Lodge?

  2. No decisions should be made until the origin of the letter “G” is researched and then discover the reason it has been adopted. The poll has questions which are biased. The would be best discussed over a period of time.

  3. If it were to be replaced, how about the All Seeing Eye? Oh wait, I forgot, we have been telling the conspiracy theorists for years that the All Seeing Eye isn’t a Masonic symbol. Good thing that they are as illiterate as most of our members, since it is clearly explained in countless Masonic Monitors…

  4. The letter “G” did not begin being used until right around the American Civil War to the best of my knowledge and research. It does serve as an allusion to both “G-D” and “Geometry” in the English language only. Let us keep the “G” but remember that it is NOT universally used by Freemasons around the world.

Brotherly love, relief, truth, faith, hope, charity, temperance, fortitude, justice, these are the things that really matter!
