Wasting time sucks.  Driving forever to get to your Lodge can be a problem.  Although there are many many issues surrounding this idea…I just wanted to do a little unscientific survey.  Tell your friends, and please VOTE BEFORE VIEWING THE RESPONSES OR YOU WON’T BE ALBE TO VOTE!!!

Thanks.

  3. From home it’s about 10 minutes by car. Friendship is right in the center of town, on the green.

A couple of weeks ago I biked there from my house; it took just about 20 minutes there, and 20 minutes back (I took the longer, but flatter route).

Sometimes I bring clothes to work so I can stop at lodge without going home. It’s about 15 or 20 minutes from work.

For perspective, I live in Connecticut, and from where I live, there are about 6 or 8 lodges, all within a 30 minute drive.

  4. for me it takes a thirty to forty minutes because of 1) road construction and 2) some of the local lakes kind of mess up the whole grid pattern street system. Return trip it’s better because rush over is over.

  5. I belong to two lodges. One, here in London, takes me about 20 minutes to get to, on a good day. The other, in Massachusetts, takes me about 10 hours to get to, if you include the time spent getting to Heathrow.

  7. Holy crap…it’s like asking a question of a bunch of lawyers! I just wanted to get an idea of how long it takes one to get to and from Lodge. Based on the responses so-far…many of us have at least a few minutes of wasted time (except for Chris…I like the Pond fly-over…very nice.)

  8. Lodge is about 45 minutes from my house if there is no traffic. At times it is an hour of stop and go traffic.

From work, it is about 30 minutes. Same traffic problems.

A infuriating as the drive can be, I’d endure twice as much to sit in Lodge.
