#aedifico42Masons Promoting Democracy?!?!

Yes, I know.  We are not supposed to talk about politics.

This is not about politics.  This is about our Representative Democracy, and what it takes to keep that machine moving.

  1. You omitted a response: No, it is not suitable for a polling place.

The one polling place in our town is large, one story, handicapped friendly (not just accessible), with abundant parking. Our lodge is none of those things.

  2. It seems to me that one of our brothers actually asked if he could submit our lodge for a polling place a few months ago.

  3. Offering your Lodge as a polling place is not politics, it’s good citizenship, besides you can make a pretty decent buck doing it.

We say we don’t discus politics in our Lodges, more to the point, we don’t engage in partisan politics.
